Last month Jason Blum teased that he was “discussing stuff” with Jamie Lee Curtis, a couple of days ago a video posted to the John Carpenters social media pages confirms that two more “Halloween” sequels are being produced for 2020 and 2021. First up is “Halloween Kills,” which sounds like it will pick up with Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode after the stories of David Gordon Green’s 2018 “Halloween.” The saga will end with the aptly titled last entry, “Halloween Ends.”
The first question that comes to mind with filming to start this September 2019. Most everyone has been confirmed to return to the project. All but one important piece to the puzzle. James Jude Courtney has yet to be announced to return to the upcoming sequels. Although very few actors have had the pleasure of portraying “The Shape ” twice. I can’t imagine the option wasn’t in his contract.
Halloween Kills is slated for release October 16th, 2020 and Halloween Ends on October 15th, 2021
