Nola Horror Film Fest

This week I was lucky enough to stumble across a co-workers sister’s Facebook post. The 8th annual  Nola Horror Film Fest @the Prytania Theatre

I myself am not a native to Louisiana. To say I was was pleasantly surprised at this discovery, would be an understatement! As I’m here for work I wasn’t able to stay for the full weekend but I was able to attend Horror Short Block one. Which I’m not the the biggest fan of short films. However, these films were cleary curated to hold up to the almost 2 hours of content.

Not to say it was a bore but rather an amuse bouche. Every single film was good in there own right! I’m just going to focus on my top 3. Again this is not to say that any of the films were bad. But two of the films came with a Q&A, which may have created a little basis???

In no particular order

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to stay to see the opening film The God Inside My Ear. A locally produced and feature film. Honorably mention goes to Dawn of man, Slick, My First time and Work Forced.
